As I walked in our home, the Oakland Fireplace was roaring in the living room. Soft music was playing. The smell of dinner wafted through the rooms. Drinks were poured and chilling on the coffee table. But, there was something different about the Oakland. I couldn't quite put my finger on it.
She came down the steps in a beautiful sundress. Her hair a masterpiece. A warming grin across her face.
I had to think quickly. It wasn’t our anniversary. Not her birthday. Had we ever done anything on this date? Months ago. Weeks ago. We were past all that. I think.
“What’s uh, what’s the occasion?” I asked hoping not to ruin her pleasant mood.
She just cocked her head and smiled, “Nothing special…relax.”
Whew! That was a close one. Note to self: write down all the dates for everything tonight before you go to bed.
I took off my jacket and sat down on the sofa. Grabbing my drink, I sat back and got comfortable. That Oakland sitting there…what was so different? It was getting the best of my curiosity.
“Hon, what’s different about the fireplace?”
From the kitchen, she yelled, “You like it?” Then, as she walked into the living room, “It’s the new accessory kit.”

The Sunjel fire burns through the ceramic logs and creates a beautiful ambiance normally felt in a traditional fire. That’s what I couldn’t quite figure out on my own.
Sitting there by the fire and listening to her talk about her day, I was in the only place I wanted to be at the time. A romantic evening with the new Fireplace Accessory Kit in our Oakland Fireplace, our conversation lasted all night. Oh yeah, dinner was great too!
